    Does anyone know their German Steins?

    Mainly want to know if this is a GERZ .25 L!

    It may be available for trade, I got a price on it at the antique shop of $85. It would make a nice gift, especially if you trade cardboard for it!

    Ok I know I should not ask a lady but.... looking at the inside of the stein on the bottom does it show a naked woman? I bought a couple of them for my dad when I was a kid living in Germany and he gave them to my God-Father he said those were the rare ones 1920-1940 era. He has now long passed but it would make the stein more valuable. ( you need to shine it up to the light for you to see it)

    It doesn't. My uncle had some like that when I was a kid. I know Gerz and Mettalch are the 2 big names, and the one G mark on here before the .25 L looks like it may be a Gerz, so does the paint and subject. The great big ones and small ones are usually worth the most as well.
