Member Suggestions

We are looking for member input on ways to improve the site. Any and all suggestions, within reason, are welcomed. The Staff is constantly running new ideas past one another, but we felt that the site is more about the members than the Staff. After all there would be no site without the members. A lot of you have hung in there through thick and thin, and some of you are new, but a productive part of the site. Let us know what you think can be done to improve the site or bring in new members. The Staff is eagerly waiting to hear some fresh new ideas. Thanks!

AB and Jim,
One thing I might suggest, and I have no part of the site, is some sort of partnership with zistle.com. With the problems that Beckett has been having, a nice alternative to keep cards inventoried is always a blessing. Also, they themselves have no bulletin board so it might be a wonderful match. They also have a trade machine as part of their site. If we could get some of their users to use these boards to post, it might up the overall population. Just a thought.

Checking zistle.com out right now. They do offer a banner to post on our site, seems pretty simple so far. I think I will defer to Jim on how he wants to pursue this.

Can't wait till the Super Bowl starts. I think you guys need to fix the odds for games. You guys put all your stocks in the packers. Well if the steelers win, it should be 10/1 odds. If you gamble on sports teams, they give better winning odds, they don't do 2/1.
This would be fun and maybe more people would do it.

the spread was around 2 points depending on which bookie you looked at so i figured 2-1 was a fair bet both ways

I was just saying it would be cool if you can change the odds. As an example, if 20 people bet on the Super Bowl and 18 picked Green 2 pick the Steelers. Make the payoff 9/1, that way the under dog makes a nice reward for his picking.
If he bets $500, then payout would be $4500. Another good idea, How about being able to transfer points into vcash. Have a thread for vcash auctions on this site. Set a standard chart for shipping $1.00 = 10.00 in vcash. That way people can have more
options to earn vcash and not be on $0.00 for a long time lol. If more options are available to the members, maybe the word would spread between the members and their friends.
