here's mine.
this is a chunk of veterans stadium, home of the phillies and eagles from 1971 until 2003 and demolished on march 21,2004.
my friend and i went to the implosion and it was like a funeral. it was the only place we've ever known, had been there 100s of times, saw some memorable games there. on the way home jack pulls over and hops the fence and brings back three pieces of rubble, one for me, one for his dad, and one for him.

My dad got this from a banker back in the 60's when he owned a horse call Crutchy Bar. His mother and father are on this horse chart of racing horses. Crutchy was born with his two front legs broken and was only able to be used as a stallion. You could ride him so he became quite a pet. My dad had to sell him in 1969 because he was being stationed in Germany. in 1985 when dad retired after 30 years in the Army my mom dug this out of storeage and tried to find information on it. I remember growin up getting phone calls ( long distance ) wanting my mom to track down the pedigree of a horse they had. I always loved this thing and my mom and dad said I was the only child out of 5 that would look at it and inquire about it so they gave it to me. It is now hanging on my wall

I picked this up at my LCS in Kansas for $5 about 7 or 8 years ago... Boston Braves vs. Brooklyn Dodgers... From what I gather it was July 7, 1946... What makes it neat to me is that the person that bought this program was at the game and kept score in the program... Pee Wee Reese had a double and an RBI for the Dodgers that day and Johnny Sain took the loss for the good guys...
