This kind of delay doesnt bother me at all. What would have been embarrassing is the day they killed him and announced it to the world but then had to say no sorry its not him.

Haha could you imagine the backlash if it wasnt him? Also, not to turn this into a huge political debate, but Osama or (Usama in arabic) was the leader, but has been just a figurehead for quite a while. He hasn't made any real decisions or lead anyone since he has been in hiding. Yes I am extatic that we got him, but that doesnt just stop Al Quida. I am tired of reading posts on facebook saying something like "Yeah we got that bas****, now all of our troops can come home" Do you really think that we are spending that kind of money and sending that many men over there to just find and kill one person? It is so much more than that.

Exactly. No matter how many troops we send over there for the rest of eternity it's near impossible to end terrorism. It's like gangs here in the United States. As long as there are poor/underfunded neighborhoods in our cities there will be people exploiting the emotions of those young kids growing up in poverty trying to influence them into a life of crime. That's how terrorist organizations work as well. They find the easy to influence members of societies and teach them what's "right and wrong" about the world. Leading those men/women to devote their entire lives to the demise of whatever they're against. Having our troops abroad does help to weaken the forces and minimize terrorist attacks but just like the war on drugs there will never be a clear winner.

All I know is I am thankful for all the troops and what they do. I know they work their hardest to protect our country and the world.
