its a long read but this set has over 6,000 cards. The first true master set. Also I am just collecting one card of each and call it my set.

Within this set you could make 100s of ways to call it a set. Port, catching pose, batting pose, team set, Southern set, Minor League set, with up to 3 dozen backs or 1 back for each set

anyways a long read and full of information even if you just want one T-206 this will help you in one way to figure fake or not just by looking at the backs of the cards.

wow didn't realize the set was so big, keep up the good work on that set and you can have a wayne set version anyway since it will more than likely never be completed.

very true, but isnt the "holy grail" in that set...if so that would make it nearly impossible

Yes the "holy grail" is in that set. but then again it isnt really considered as part of the set since their are approx 35 known versions. I do however have a couple of the rare factory versions. All I need is 83 more( just bought 1) for the set. Plank, Doyle, Wagner (S)nodgrass, O'Hara are just a couple in the set that are extreamly hard to find and way out of the budget. But then again Beckett does mention that they consider them as not part of the set. So I just after the base set and wanting pretty much every back known within the set and I would be extreamly happy ( Oh forgot minus the Cobb back)

Thats right I might win the Mega Millions and get the whole set completed along with all the Wagner and Cobbs back Variations. Wish me luck on that. ( I know keep dreaming right.)
