I know I will be watching it on TV!!
Apparently the greens are set up super quick.
No surprise there really - never heard of slow sandbelt greens.
A couple of the American rookies are raving about the course.
Phil Mickelson and Robert Allenby need to find form.
Tiger looks okay judging by his 3rd place finish last weekend.
If Tiger and Adam Scott squares off, I will watch for sure and probably cringe!
Here is my personal experience of Royal Melbourne.
So many things to work out.
Course knowledge is really an asset here.
I will never forget my first round there.
A par 3.. about 150 yards with the pin pretty much in the middle.
The hole plays uphill so you can't see the green but you can see the flag.
Of course I aim for the flag. Don't need a second invitation to gun at a middle pin.
Hit it about 8 foot past the hole.
Turns out after a very gentle tap of the putter, my ball went 10-12 foot past the hole.
Never had that happen to me before or since.
So yeah caddies have their work cut out especially the Americans.
