Ok the end of the year is fast coming upon us.
We have 2012 looking forward to
Lets see what goals everyone has in the card collecting world
Pick a few things you would like to get acomplished before 2013
1) get to 100 trades
2) pick up 15 T-206s that I need for my set. ( Hope to surpass that number)
3) Aquire a Lou Gehrig game used card
4) pick up 10 HOF rookie cards or prewar cards other than a T-206

get the 1933 Goudey Babe Ruth,1948 Leaf Babe Ruth, and 1968 Topps Johnny Bench Rookie

1) pick up another hank aaron auto (incoming)
2) pickup a nice braves triple auto (preferably one with heyward) (incoming)
3) buy a hobby box of triple threads or something similar (and hopefully pull something nice lol)
4) pick up at least 5 more quality sidney rice autos (1 down, 2 incoming)
5) pick up at least 20 more quality pc cards (couple down)

1 - Finally finish that darn Artifacts set.

2 - Get rid of all my football and baseball

3 - thin out my tradebaits

4 - Hopefully get a Jordan auto

Due to my budget on cards, I would be lucky to get the 3 cards I want. My Vintage Collection is growing.

phew....card collecting goals for 2012. we will have the wifes car paid off around october of 2012....our big hank aaron collecting project officially begins then so I'll list it at the end.

- maintain and keep our Jonny Venters collection as up to date as possible picking up all non 1/1 cards issued and as many 1/1s as our grubby hands can afford. (he should have some nice all star patch/autos in 2012!)
- selectively continue bolstering our 90s greg maddux collection, both filling in all the cheap holes (that just sounds illegal/fun) and slowly picking up the nicer/harder to find/lower numbered inserts from that era.
- a nicely centered mid-to high grade jordan RC (this will be closer to end of year probably also)
- begin our big hank aaron collecting project. it will be year by year collecting of all of his regular topps issued cards in a braves uni (no all-star/record breaker/in action/etc cards). with focus on condition and especially centering. basically looking to get everything in BVG 7/PSA 8 condition or better. will pick and choose and pick and choose and pretty much get the best of the best year by year as we find the right cards. no telling how long this one will take its suppose to be a pricey/lengthy project. but should be started in 2012...its been hard fighting temptation to start it earlier but so far so good!

the jordan is sorta an oddball want for me decided earlier this year I would pick one up... not even really a fan of basketball or jordan in particular but when I was a kid he was the man, and that was the card. figure if I'm gonna drop cash on one sometime...might as well get a really nice one. plus the nicer ones will always have a lasting appeal not like I couldn't sell it if i needed the cash.

2. Pick up all new Daniel Hudson releases
3. Work on Bowman Chrome PC
4. Pick up some Braves autos whenever I can
