All the teams interested have to put in a bid without knowing the next teams offer and then the team that placed the highest bid wins the rights to negotiate with Yu for a 30 day window. I've heard several big time analyst say he is one of the 4 best pitchers current in baseball. They said similar things about Dice-K but Yu did leave a lasting impression on me with how he handled things in the 09 classic

I've heard the Jays are interested in Fielder, but AA will never give a straight answer about a certain player when asked. He likes to poke his nose in every big name FA, but will he pull the trigger, and has he been given the okay to spend Fielder type dollars? Who knows?
