Beltran to The Redbirds

Just read the St. Louis Cardinals have come to terms with Carlos Beltran For $26 million and 2 years with a no trade clause. Pending a physical, Beltran will be wearing the birds on the Bat next year.

I think I read he played 142 games last season and no health issues like the 2 seasons before that. If it works out in 2012, the Cardinals may have scored a top player on the cheap. what was the deal with Cudeyer?

true...just never know with those mets, too many injuries as a team lol. If he stays healthy then it would be a heck of a pickup as he is a quality player.
