Note: I visit this store anytime I travel to Orlando with my fiance to visit her family... the store mainly deals with singles but has a decent selection of boxes and supplies as well and the owner is very fair in his dealings as I usually walk out with something thrown in for free with my purchase.

Note from me: Based on Bob's recommendation I stopped by The Baseball Card Co. while staying down in the St. Pete area with Jess last week and while he doesn't have much as far as wax and newer product goes he did appear to have a very nice selection of vintage... unfortunately I had to more or less run in and out as we were running late getting to the Rays/Yankees game. I will definitely take a better look next time I'm down there for vintage Braves RC's to add to my collection.

Note: A newer store that from what I was informed just started up in the 2nd half of 09 after buying out another older store in area. Decent mix of autos, wax, and vintage. Check them out if your in the area.

The Baseball Card Co., at 1901 West Bay Drive, Largo, is the best shop in the Tampa Bay area. It's run by Orve Johansson, who is one of the nicest guys you ever want to meet. He's had the shop for almost 28 years and has a great mixture of new and old stuff. His vintage cards are tremendous.

Orve is not one to haggle with customers, but if you give him a figure ("I want to buy $50 worth of cards), he will find a way to make it worth your while.

I don't get over that way as often as I'd like, but it's still a great shop.
